I am super excited! I am about to embark on my first ever for real solo tour!!! Not bringing my tuba player, my Masseuse, or my hair dresser this trip! I will be all alone....It will be a first ever in my 12 years of touring on the road in bands and even with my new solo project. I have always had back up players, or friends who have come with me...I will be picking up my ride in Texas and starting my tour in Colorado. Wait....No, that's right....Ha ha. Then driving down through New Mexico and back up to Utah! I am super excited to announce my show case schedule at this year's international Folk Alliance. It will be held at the Delta Chelsea Hotel downtown Toronto, my hometown!!! I am also going to be playing some shows around Ontario with my friends, Birds of Chicago and Luther Wright. Check out my solo touring schedule in the menu above. For those of you who don't know, Folk Alliance is an annual music conference that thousands of people in the industry attend. It has been in Memphis for the last few years, and this will be it's first time in Canada in a while. We are really looking forward to seeing so many of our friends whom we haven't seen in years! Happy Holiday love to you and yours! I am thoroughly enjoying this Utahn winter. Writing lots and enjoying the company of some wonderful people. Getting all ready for the International Music Conference "Folk Alliance", which is held in Canada for the first time in many years. It will be in Toronto this year Feb.20th-24th 2013. I will be attending and performing showcases with songs off my new album and also some new compositions I have yet to play in public! There will be many amazing musicians there this year. I have just launched a fundraising campaign to help fund my first ever solo album "Where The Dakrness Goes". Kickstarter is a great way that many indie artists have been making their art happen with much success. You can help by donating any amount and receive some of the many rewards there are....

We have 30 days to reach our goal or we don't see any of the funds! So the race is on. You can also help by spreading the word through facebook,twitter and personal e-mails.

Feel free to check out the campaign and see the wonderful video that our dear friend Suzie Boelter made. It shows scenes from the studio and you can hear little bits of some of the songs in their ealier stages of the recording. It will give you an sense of what this project if all about.

Welcome to my new website!

A Brief History and Introduction to The Gutbucket Bass is now finished!!! It will be available as of August 1st!!!

For August and September it will only be available to buy from stage, as I tour with Po'girl through New Mexico, the UK and Europe.  Come out to the shows and see the Gutbucket in action! You can find out show details at www.pogirl.net.  Starting in October, you will be able to buy it online through my website and also from shows, as Po'girl continues to tour through the west of Canada and the US all fall.
